Securing a Mobile Workforce:
How to secure an increasingly mobile workforce when your existing infrastructure and policies are designed for a desktop environment.
Abstract:
An estimated 50% of corporate computers are laptops (with the number consistently growing), and IT departments are faced with the challenging task of securing the operation and networking by remote and mobile PCs. Currently, IT departments have little or no means with which to exercise security procedures and respective policies over remote and mobile platforms. With so many new solutions and emerging technologies, it is vital that IT departments identify and invest in the right solutions to ensure their security can handle the mobile challenge.
